Steel Fixers (m/f) – Oxford, UK

We have been retained by an international engineering and construction company in charge of delivering infrastructure and buildings projects across UK, Middle East, and Australia to recruit Steel Fixers (m/f) to join their team on project in Oxford, UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Laying out steel bars, mesh, rods, and framework
  • Hoisting steel bars, mesh, and reinforcements into place
  • Fitting spacers and supports

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in fixing rebar working on reinforced concrete structures
  • The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Basic knowledge of English language

Benefits:

  • 6-months contract
  • Self-employment (CIS)
  • Full-time position (9.5 hours paid)
  • Salary – £24 gross p/hour Monday-Friday, £36 gross p/hour on Saturdays
  • Immediate start
